When should couples start thinking about their music and entertainment?
As there are roughly 20 ‘ideal wedding’ Saturdays in the European Summer calendar, the most popular suppliers become booked 12-24 months in advance. If music is important to you, start looking into it early to ensure you secure the musicians and artists you want. I would also recommend this for photographers, caterers & venues.
What are the options for couples on their big day?
For a wedding ceremony, I always love a string ensemble. ALR Strings are elegant, romantic & timeless. This is what we provided for Idris & Sabria Elba’s wedding in Marrakech.
For the reception, lunch, or a day 2 party, you can’t beat an acoustic roaming band. The Juke Joints always lift a party, as do our Cuban roaming band, The Legends – who featured in the recent James Bond movie.
For the after-dinner party you need the ultimate party band – The Soul Jets, The New Atlantics, Superfly or The Fellas are all high energy, super cool and fill the dance floor.

Our bespoke act, The Ibiza Live Orchestra is unique and spot on if you love vocal house classics. A Gospel Choir during your ceremony is a beautiful addition, or a trio delivering a contemporary arrangement that is special to you. We can create any bespoke act for your big day.
What are the hidden obstacles couples don’t normally think about for their big day?
AV/Tech/production – it’s always the cost which couples do not include. In the UK you can find good suppliers for reasonable rates. When you go abroad particularly in France, Spain and Italy the quotes can get astronomical, so we work with our couples to ensure the local company isn’t including enough equipment for a Coldplay concert. If you are investing in a great band, you need good technical support to ensure you can hear and see the band.

Difficult to choose but The Soul Jets or The Fellas (both performed at Princess Eugenie’s wedding), and definitely The Juke Joints for your Day 2.
