When it comes to date night there are no rules of what you should and shouldn’t wear. It’s all about feeling your most confident. The same goes with makeup. On my date nights I love expressing myself with makeup. Whether it’s a bold lip, a smoky eye or dewy glow it truly depends on my mood that day. For my date night last week I went with a classic cat eye, glowy skin and the classic 90s supermodel lips.
To start my date night look I used the Sculpted by Aimee Beauty Base Pearl in Rose golden. A beautiful primer that helps the skin glow underneath foundation. I like applying this product to the high point of my face. Which include tops of the cheeks, tip of my nose, eyebrow bone and a bit on the sides of the forehead.
For my foundation I used the Lisa Eldridge seamless skin foundation in shade 12. This foundation is perfect for an airbrushed look it truly makes your skin look flawless.
To prime my eyes are use the P Louise base. This product is amazing on its own or underneath eyeshadow really makes the colour pop! This one is a staple in my kit.
For my eyeshadow I want to keep things super simple and only used two shades from my Jadestone Eyeshadow Palette from Bobbi Brown. On my eyelid I used the cream shade, which lightened up my eyes and on the crease I used a slightly warmer shade called buff. Which helped add a bit of depth and contour to the eyes.
To create the cat eye are use my go-to precision gel liner from Illamasqua in shade infinite. If you’re a beginner at using gel eyeliner I always recommend using a small angled brush. This will help you to create the perfect flick and have the most precision.
On my lower waterline I applied my Sweed Satin Kohl Eye Pencil in shade bright. Which helps widen the eyes and draw more attention to them.
I finished off the eyes with Louboutin’s Les Yeux Noirs Volumaxima black mascara. I love this mascara as it’s a very full body mascara and helps with the volume and length of the lashes. It truly completes any look.
Under the eyes are used the Caia Cosmetics Front Row concealer. I like to get as close to the flick of the cat eye as possible that way I can really clean up the eye liner and make it look super slick.
For brows I went with something soft. The Ilia In Full Micro-tip Brow pencil is currently my go-to. I filled in the gaps in my brows and brushed it through with the eyebrow brush feathering them out.
To bring a bit more colour back to my skin I popped on some blush by Code8 in shade Rose. I focused this on the apples of my cheeks.
I completed the look with a bold 90s supermodel lip. To line my lips I used Caia lip pencil in shade Bianca . A beautiful nude pinkey/brown which was a go-to in the 90s supermodel era. I topped it off with a nude pink gloss from Laura Mercier in shade 125 Rosé. Giving the plumpest kissable lips.
