On the 14th of March, The Wedding Edition and Jo Loves hosted an oh-so-glamouous luncheon at The Lanesborough. The event was held in the breathtakingly-beautiful Belgravia Room and was the epitomy of a floral fantasy. Most importantly the Jo Loves aroma was noted by all guests as they walked through the grand double doors, highlighting that scenting your wedding is officially the chicest way to elevate your big day. The event showcased that candles are the item you can never have too many of at an event – from personalised centrepieces of a swanky tablescape to lifting the floral arrangements or even spritzing your napkins – scenting your wedding is the most captivating trend for 2023.
The event took place at the Lanesborough’s in the resplendent Belgravia Room with silk curtains, the most mesmerising painted ceiling and a profusion of sparkling chandeliers. It had all the features for the most fabulous of settings. An all white tablescape set the tone, designed by floral mastermind Fiona Fleur, alongside event extraordinaries Moriarty and Antoinette Lettieri, who styled the event into a fantastical surrounding with table details provided by Maison Margaux, Just4linen, Emma Dodi Cakes, Leeming Brothers, Gigi & Olive, Charlotte Willmore Designs, Jones Hire and Candle Flair.
The exclusive guest list included Aimee Kelly, Anna Syren, Josie Fear, Alice Liveing, Patricia Niamh O’dwyer, Anna Van Der Hulst, Zeena Shah, Fran Newman-Young, Anisa Sojka, Portia Freeman, Tabitha Willet, Rachael Clifton, Leanora Smee, Alexandra Dudley, Gina Jackson, Emily Champion, Ghenet Actually and more.
The menu was carefully curated to bring out the notes from the Jo Loves signature bridal scents, Golden Gardenia, White Rose & Lemon Leaves. Paired to perfection with a Lillet cocktail to bring out the flavours from each show-stopper plate the Lanesborough served. Think art on a plate. A true highlight was the starter: white almond gazpacho with cured Loch Fyne salmon – the perfect white starter with a pop of red served with a Lillet Rosé & Rose signature Champagne cocktail finished with Perrier Jouët.
Everyone left on a high, taking home one of the three hero wedding day scents from Jo Loves – Golden Gardenia, White Rose and Lemon Leaves or Pink Vetiver with hair mists, personalised candles and perfumed brushes, so they could glide down the aisle smelling as good as they will look. The event showcased to the exclusive guest list how to create a truly unique atmosphere with your very own Jo Loves wedding fragrance. Having a bottled up a memory which will transport you back to that special day with a single sniff.
