Why Go?
Arev St Tropez ticks all the boxes. Primely located just a short drive or leisurely walk from the heart of the Port de Saint-Tropez, it welcomes guests seeking to immerse themselves in the charm of the French Riviera. Challenging the long-held belief that the region is solely a summer playground, Arev is one of few hotels in the area that’s open off-season. Guests will find plenty to occupy themselves within the hotel and in the surrounding area year-round, proving that the low season truly is as appealing as the summer.
Honeymoon Style
St Tropez offers couples an enchanting blend of sun-soaked days, buzzing beach clubs, and excellent dining options, creating a romantic backdrop for a honeymoon or mini-moon. Designed to feel like a private home, this boutique property is immediately inviting. You won’t find a traditional check-in area in the hotel, as guests are encouraged to relax from the moment they step inside.
Set The Scene
Although Arev is in its infancy as a hotel (it opened in March 2024), it has already nestled effortlessly into the DNA of the St Tropez landscape. This Provence-style villa has been expertly crafted to celebrate the timelessness of its surroundings. Painted in Provencal Crème with windows adorned with powder-blue shutters, Arev is as enchanting outside as it is inside. The nautical stripes that pep up the interiors inspire both the eye and conversation, as the the hotel’s unique design makes for an easy talking point. Designed by world-renowned Madrileño designer Luis Bustamante, the iconic bright, Tropezian colours and eye-catching artwork and photography was chosen to represent the old-world glamour the hotel proudly embodies.
The layout of the main lobby is cosy, with small tables neatly lined along the walls, drawing the focus towards the main restaurant. There’s a mix of ground floor guest rooms and suites, which include private gardens, while first floor rooms feature French windows and balconies that flood the space with light, showcasing the vibrancy of the interiors.
Rooms
Derived from the French word rêver, ‘to dream’, Arev lives up to its name as you’ll certainly be well rested here. With an emphasis on being a home away from home, each room features large king-sized beds, a spacious living area and writing desk. Anchored by its nautical theme, there are thoughtful extra touches like the personalised stationery and postcards ready to be sent out to family and friends. The hotel’s guest rooms and suites, including those with private gardens, have all been individually designed each bringing their own character to the hotel.
Food & Drink
Whether you’re looking to start or end your evening with a cocktail or two, make sure to sit bar-side for the ultimate St Tropez experience: the vibrant blue-and-red striped bar creates the feeling of being on board a mega yacht. Enjoy reading through the cocktail menu as lots of classic favourites feature a signature Arev twist, and these creations are made to wow, with elegant glassware, monogrammed ice cubes and spectacular garnishes. Located mere steps from the dining tables, Arev’s bar also offers a seamless flow from drinks to dinner. Those seeking the wine list will find knowledgable staff ready to recommend the best local wines, from fruity Château Sainte-Marguerite rosé to full-bodied Château Talbot Sauvignon. Arev’s extensive wine list includes the largest selection of Bordeaux wines in St Tropez with over 4,000 bottles available and has been carefully curated to satisfy the palate of every guest.
The much-loved Strand restaurant has made its return at Arev, where guests can enjoy a taste of the Riviera. Incorporating seasonal produce into the dining options, Chefs Rocco Seminara and Manon Santini have skilfully reimagined the region’s most popular dishes. And with small plates this tempting, you’ll find yourself wanting to order the sea bream ceviche every evening. The salads on offer are also flavourful – the chou kale being an especially crowd-pleasing dish for lunch and dinner options. Tossed with crunchy chickpeas, mint, grapefruit and pomegranate pearls, it’s wonderfully refreshing.
