The Story
Maison Margaux was born in November 2019. With decades of experience in the events and hospitality industry, friends Louisa Preskett-Mobbs, Xavier Cadiou, Julian Vogel, Jeremy Mobbs and Victoria & Ben Latreuille started Maison Margaux. Finding it hard to rent interesting tableware for their events they decided to start their own business and it’s booming in world where tablescaping has become a key trend for any chic events.

SRPING
We love Spring and our Green Petals tablecloth is perfect for the season – so fresh, clean and versatile. It looks beautiful with white plates but we particularly like this combination of the wicker placemat and green leaves with gold edge plates. Our scalloped edge napkins come in a variety of colours adding a sophisticated and feminine touch to any setting. Gold cutlery accentuates the beautiful gold edge of the plate to really elevate the look, making it one of our most popular wedding combinations. Playful additions such as our lemon napkin holders and emerald green wine goblets can add a bit of fun and individuality as well.
SUMMER
We are always hopeful that our British summer season brings with it lots of sun and opportunities to entertain. Relaxed alfresco, Italian inspired celebrations with friends are our idea of heaven and this lemon setting is a huge hit in the summer months. We have so many beautiful tablecloth options, most of which would work well with this pretty shell placemat framing our Aegean white plates and stunningly vibrant, hand-painted lemon plates. Similarly, the setting looks great standing alone on a rustic wooden table. These lemon plates are one of our favourites… and most popular. We like drawing attention to the different blues in each plate by styling them with our gorgeous blue tortoiseshell water glasses and ever-popular bamboo cutlery.
AUTUMN
As the leaves start to fall and cozy candlelit dining comes around again we absolutely love this elegant ‘Carolina’ by Oscar de la Renta setting. With our Alana pomegranate tablecloth, burgundy Abigail napkins and bamboo cutlery we think it embraces all the beautiful rich colours of Autumn and evokes warmth and sophistication. Our pink blush water glasses and goblets look stunning with this look but equally dark amber coloured water glasses and our tortoiseshell cutlery look truly fabulous.
WINTER
This winter setting is very popular during the festive period and perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas tables. Our Eloise tablecloth sets the scene with its berries and rich seasonal colours. It is complimented beautifully by our burgundy Abigail placemats and matching napkins with their pretty white embroidered detailing. Our bamboo cutlery is so stylish and it’s warm rich colours work well in any season but we think it looks fabulous with the burgundy of the placemats and these stunning Royal Limoges plates designed by Maison Margaux and available to buy and rent only from us. Glassware can be clear or a blush pink but personally we love pairing our amber speckled water glasses to add depth and richness. We hope you love it as much as we do.
The experience for wedding couples
In 2021 the Maison Margaux Studio opened in Chelsea. A dedicated showroom for clients to visit and explore the seasonal looks created by the team as well as utilise the team’s bespoke tablescaping service. The team will work closely alongside you; mixing colours and styles to create unique, bespoke table settings to hire – some very playful and innovative and some more traditional.
