Sharky and George have become synonymous with high-profile events. Can you elaborate on how they’ve earned a reputation as the go-to entertainers for prestigious weddings:
Understanding individual approaches to children at weddings, some people really want the children to be fully involved in all aspects of the day, whereas others would love for their guests to be able to let their hair down and have a few hours in which they don’t have to spare a thought to their children. Properly understanding what is required means that Sharky & George create a truly special experience for the children attending any wedding within the wishes of the couple.
Sharky & George has an amazing team of guys and girls who genuinely connect with children of all ages.
With 20 years of experience and over 1 million children entertained, there are very few scenarios that S&G have not found themselves in, so you can trust them to get it right and give the children the most amazing time.
In the world of wedding entertainment, what sets Sharky and George apart from traditional options:
If the couple want the children to be involved in the reception, we set up a canape or chocolate making station for the children to create culinary masterpieces to hand around to all the guests.
The real secret to bring a fresh perspective to weddings for children is to focus on engagement in games and activities rather than sitting watching someone perform. Also as older brother/sister figures, the children hang out with the team the whole time rather than having ‘stints’ of entertainment.
A few years ago 140 adult guests at a wedding in Tuscany took part in one of the most off-the-wall Olympic games on the day before the ceremony. It got highly competitive and involved an inflatable obstacle course, grape crushing, slow bike races and ridiculous fancy dress, all masterminded by the Sharky & George team.
How do Sharky and George’s to turn ordinary wedding moments into extraordinary experiences for children?
This is a piece of feedback we received from a Bride after her wedding, which at the start made our hearts sink and then thankfully sing!
“They completely ruined it for me. The most commented thing of my whole entire wedding day? My dress? The food? The venue? The carefully selected readings? Nope. Josh and Louis and the amazing time the children were having. Inspired. Was the most commonly used word. And, where are our children? Was the question parents vaguely asked before returning to their wine and cake without waiting for an answer. Well worth the money. Every wedding needs Sharky and George. Even if there aren’t any children. Who doesn’t want to play ankle breaker or Sardines? My guests won’t remember my dress but they will never forget how thrilled their children were to be at our wedding. Thanks guys.”

Can do attitude: very early on in the history of Sharky & George, we were looking after the children at a wedding at Lake Garda in Italy over 4 days. Having really got to know the family and especially the children, it was a totally natural response for George of S&G to end up driving the Bride and her Dad to the church when the wedding car broke down. Not only did this solve a tricky last minute hiccup in proceedings, it made for a really funny moment for the children seeing the guy they’d been larking around with all day to be the chauffeur in a peaked cap driving the Bride to the church!
How do Sharky and George complement the overall theme and vibe of a wedding, ensuring a seamless integration into the event?
Understanding the vibe expected by the couple, ranging from children completely whisked away for 4 hours without being seen or heard, playing in the distance as a charming vision of children having fun to being fully involved in the reception and dancefloor.
