The Journey
I actually saw my wedding dress on Instagram months before I started looking and I just couldn’t get it out of my head. I visited four bridal shops and struggled to find one which lived up to the wedding dress I had seen on Instagram. I ended up finding a boutique, Morgan Davies Bridal, who could source the wedding dress I wanted for me as they stocked the designer, Marquise Bridal, but not the exact dress.
The Vision
I found it enjoyable for the most part. I left enough time to explore different styles without feeling to stressed or pressured.
Decision
I always knew I wanted a fitted off-the-shoulder wedding dress. All my friends guessed I’d go for that style too.
The Style Support
I had a clear idea of the wedding dress I wanted and the overall look, so whilst my mum and sister came with me to the fittings, I trusted my own gut and made my own styling decisions.
The Accessories
My wedding dress was heavily embellished so I kept the accessories simple. I found my vail at Morgan Davies Bridal and it added a lovely soft touch to the look.
The Evening Look
My day dress was beautiful but not suitable for dancing. I changed into a mini Clio Peppiatt dress.
The Second Day Outfit
I wore white and cream for the entire week. It was already one of my favourite colours to wear so I lent into it. I spent months trying on different outfits, it wasn’t an easy process but it was enjoyable.

Favourite Photo Of The Dress
I love photos which show genuine emotion and I remember this moment so well, my bridesmaids had just seen the wedding dress for the first time and I felt like everything was coming together. I also love how the light bounces off the beading.
