Inside: A Romantic Moment At Four Seasons Hampshire

Set in 500 acres of beautiful countryside, the Four Seasons Hampshire is the grand English country stay couples dream of. Set against a show-stopping backdrop of enchanting gardens and rolling hills, the Georgian pile is a stone’s throw from London with charming staff, a top-notch spa and an endless list of country pursuits to enjoy. A mere one hour drive from central London, Four Seasons Hampshire is a sprawling country estate ramped up with Four Seasons panache.

Inside, glamour meets traditional country house, with mirrored walls, chandeliers and comforting country wallpaper. Here, it’s all about outdoor activities (riding, hiking, falconry, cycling, tennis, birdwatching…) and, of course, the food. Outside, guests who included Zeena Shah, Zack Mclaughlin, Porita Freeman, Chessie King & Fran Newman-Young, were greeted by life-size sculptures of boxing hares, wild boar and an incredibly friendly Labrador making for the perfect setting for The Wedding Edition’s Romantic Moment in Hampshire.

The Itinerary

Four Seasons Hampshire was certainly the perfect home-from-home haute-luxe estate that’s family-friendly, dog-friendly and country chic for honeymooners and quite spectacularly, weddings and therefore the perfect place for TWE. to host our first UK Romantic Moments.

On arrival guest were whisked into the library to enjoy an abundance of delicious croissants, sweet treats and coffees before throwing on their riding boots for a lakeside hack. Afterwards, guests hit the spa for dreamy treatments before an epic show-stopping paired dinner with Louis Roederer. The next day was all swims, long lazy breakfasts and a zen yoga session before checking out. The time spent here was certainly as as leisurely or action-packed as guests fancied and everyone left firmly holding the Four Seasons Hampshire in their heart.

The Rooms

The rooms here certainly did not disappoint. Think ultra-comfy king-size platform beds with squishy pillows and smooth, crisp linen. Positioned at the heart of the house, the guests suites had breath-taking panoramic views of our 500-acre Hampshire estate and a full marble bathroom with claw-foot tub to pour into the morning after. It really was the epitome of luxury.

The Spa

A magnificent pool is the centrepiece of the spa, guests enjoyed a swim outside and were soothed and warmed by jets. Then it was off for treatments where guests enjoyed a bespoke therapeutic massage, which included the show-stopping rose gold face mask which contains Silk Amino Acids and Vitamin E to condition the skin, as well as 24-carat Gold and Damask Rose Extract to rejuvenate, hydrate and soothe the skin. Guests quickly learned this was the ultimate way to prep for any romantic celebration. This rose gold face mask relieves inflamed skin and protects against environmental stressors. Guests emerged from the chamber with a childlike euphoria and instant benefits, feeling plumped and refreshed.

The Dinner

Guests started their unforgettable dining experience alfresco amongst blooming roses, bewitching landscapes and chirping birdsong in the background of The Walled Garden. While Olivia Jageurs played the most stunning harp recital guests enjoyed the magnums of Louis Roederer with flavoursome canapes. Highlights included the Tunworth cheese, hazelnut and caramelized onion delights, which made the Champagne pop.

Guest then migrated inside, where they swooned over a majestic tablescape in the private dining room of the Wild Carrot restaurant. Vibrant green linen was matched with golden cutlery and further complimented with fresh, seasonal blooms by leading florist, Blomster Designs Flowers. A bespoke menu was curated by the executive chef, using the freshest ingredients many from the estate, each course meticulously paired with a crisp glass of Louis Roederer. Alexandra Tilling, Brand Manager at Louis Roederer brought the event to life with this decadent evening showcasing the finest vintages from Louis Roederer whilst educating guests on the heritage of the special champagne house and truly highlighting why it is the preferred Champagne at Four Seasons across the globe.
