This week’s 9 Questions with … TWE. interviews Victoria Prew, the co-founder and CEO of HURR, the fashion marketplace changing the way we wear. With their headquarters in London, HURR aims to address an underserved market of women who want access to the latest trends, without the commitment of purchase. Prew is the first to tap into the growing market, spearheading rental fashion and shifts in millennial behaviour. Prew shows us how renting is not only popular alternative that allows you to save money while still wearing an expensive dress and making a sustainable choice without compromising on big-day style.
I love working in my industry because…. the future of fashion is a rented wardrobe.
I’m best known for…never saying no and working around the clock!
My biggest achievement to date is…building a world-class team who all believe in the HURR mission.
Renting instead of buying for the wedding season is so important because… weddings can be seen as a wear-it-once-occasion. What’s not to love about changing your look for every different one, in a way that’s kind to the planet.
The current wedding trends I’m loving are… upcycled wedding dresses! A recent HURR Bride chose this Freya Simone dress, reworked from a vintage hand sewn patchwork – it’s a complete one off and very special.
My favourite looks from my collection for wedding guests to rent are… anything from The Vampire’s Wife Edit.
My favourite place in the world to skip the crowds is… Richmond Park.
The best person to follow on Instagram for big-day inspo is… @unLIKEBRIDE.
And finally, what’s next for HURR… we’re launching three new bridal brand partners soon, stay tuned…
